Your Hosts

We are Stuart and Jennifer MacPherson and we are delighted to share our part of the Isle of Skye with you. We live close by with our teenage son, cats and hens, so we are handy if you need anything during your stay with us.

Stuart's paternal family are from Uig and we live on family croft land (small holding). He was a regular visitor until choosing to settle on the island in the year 2000 when he came to work in economic development. In his rare spare time, Stuart enjoys fly fishing, golf and gardening but he also knows a fair bit about Scottish football! 

Jennifer was born and raised on the island and chose to stay to work in local economic and community development. Leisure passions include road cycling, cycle packing, hiking and volunteering in our local foodwaste reduction and foodshare project.

If you are interested in any of our hobbies we will be happy to share local information and experiences. Below is taken atop Cairn Gorm in the Cairngorms National Park, our other favourite part of Scotland!
